The other day I came across a rather large stack of rejection letters I had received over the years from various publishers who were not interested in anything I had to say.
I kept writing. They kept rejecting. I even wrote an article entitled “Sweet Rejection.”
It was rejected.
I’m amazed at how persistent I was.
Suddenly, now I find myself in a world that doesn’t require query letters and proposals. Anyone can write and publish his or her own work.
I just read that every day sees 54,000 brand new blogs.
Yet here I sit.
That’s about to change.
By the way, my name is Sherry Johnson. Apparently, I set up this site four years ago but never wrote anything in it! Oops!
